ELDT Self-Certification (Required to Proceed)

Federal law requires every applicant accepted for Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) CDL training to provide a self-certification confirming compliance with specific safety and eligibility regulations. This online acknowledgment fulfills that requirement and acts as your official self-certification for enrollment.

Required Regulatory Statement (Exact Language Preserved)

“All accepted applicants for behind-the-wheel (BTW) training attesting that they will comply with U.S. Department of Transportation regulations in parts 40, 382, 383, and 391, as well as State and/or local laws, related to alcohol and controlled substances testing, age, medical certification, licensing, and driver records. 49 CFR 380.725(b)(1).”

  • You will comply with all applicable state and local laws related to:
    • alcohol and controlled substances testing
    • age requirements
    • medical certification
    • licensing requirements
    • driver record standards

  • You understand that this online acknowledgment is your official self-certification required for enrollment in Behind-the-Wheel (BTW) training.

  • You understand that failure to comply with these regulations may result in denial of enrollment or removal from the program.
